Thanks for your input and feedback. No, I wouldn't expect them all to have vasectomies. I would appreciate it if it was discussed as an option as viable and valid as female birth control, rather than defaulting on women to take hormones which result in infertility also, as well as heart attacks, cancer, etc. Vasectomies cost a few hundred dollars. A pack of birth control pills can easily run $120/m if you want to take a low hormone pill, which as it turns out are only made by brands which are not covered by insurance. Again, vasectomies are mostly reversible, non hormonal, and cost effective. It is a valid option and one that should be more widely accepted.
